Terms of service

1. Contracting party and acceptance

These terms are between Zhou Gaili and the merchant that installs, purchases, or uses AfterSales Shield AI. A person accepting for an organization represents that they have authority to bind it.

2. Service and explicit boundaries

The service synchronizes Shopify Payments disputes, organizes available evidence, generates structured drafts, and provides human review, reminders, collaboration, and audit features.

Direct evidence submission depends on Shopify's current APIs, app permissions, merchant eligibility, and platform approval. When direct submission is unavailable, the service provides copyable or downloadable materials and a Shopify handoff. The service does not promise a win, recovered funds, or platform approval.

3. Merchant responsibilities

• Provide only lawful, accurate, relevant information the merchant is authorized to process.
• Human-review facts, attachments, policies, and final submission content before each deadline.
• Secure accounts, team roles, two-factor authentication, and contact information.
• Follow Shopify rules, payment-network requirements, consumer protection, privacy, and applicable law.

4. AI and human oversight

AI-generated content may be incomplete or wrong. Completeness and risk indicators are operational aids, not legal advice, credit decisions, or guaranteed outcome probabilities. The merchant must verify cited evidence and statements before submission.

5. Trial, fees, and cancellation

Starter is US$49 per month and includes 10 formal submissions per month, with additional submissions at US$5.90 each; Growth is US$149 per month and includes 50, with additional submissions at US$4.20 each; Pro is US$349 per month and includes 150, with additional submissions at US$3.20 each. Only Starter has a 30-day free trial, limited to 3 formal submissions; development stores in the same Shopify Partner organization may test free of charge. Final charges appear on Shopify-hosted pricing and subscription confirmation surfaces. No usage event above the plan allowance is sent without the merchant's explicit overage opt-in.

Subscriptions, upgrades, downgrades, and cancellation are handled through Shopify Billing. Cancellation during the trial incurs no charge. A merchant may cancel at any time to stop the next renewal; the current period is generally not prorated. Duplicate or erroneous charges and major technical failures may be submitted for review within 7 days of the charge. Consumed usage charges are generally non-refundable. Applicable law or Shopify rules prevail where they require otherwise.

6. Intellectual property and feedback

Merchants retain rights in their data and materials and grant us a limited license needed to provide, secure, and improve the service. The app, templates, interface, and underlying technology belong to us or our licensors. Feedback may be used to improve the service without disclosing merchant confidential information.

7. Confidentiality, suspension, and termination

Each party will protect non-public information obtained through the service. We may reasonably restrict or suspend access for security risk, unlawful use, non-payment, platform requirements, or material breach. Export and deletion after termination follow the privacy policy and data-processing notice.

8. Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as is and as available, without guaranteeing a dispute win, recovered funds, or uninterrupted operation. Statutory consumer rights and liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited remain unaffected; other liability will be determined by actual loss, attribution of responsibility, and applicable law.

Governing law and forum: Laws of the People's Republic of China; disputes are subject to the competent courts at the operator's domicile, except where mandatory applicable law provides otherwise / 适用中华人民共和国法律；争议由经营者所在地有管辖权的人民法院处理，但适用的强制性法律另有规定的除外.
